04 Mar 2025 Development of a sintering process using the PERFORM method

For electromobility and the necessary drive converters, power modules are increasingly being sintered onto heat sinks over large areas. As part of the European Six Sigma Club’s online lecture program, we are presenting the development of a large-area sintering process using the PERFORM method.
The PERFORM method is a structured approach that bundles the entire development and optimization process of production systems into seven clearly defined steps. It helps engineers to systematically integrate customer requirements, design decisions and process analyses, minimize risks and sustainably increase efficiency and quality through targeted pilot tests and optimizations.
The project and procedure will be presented in the lecture.
