Conduction

Refers to the heat input via conduction. For this, the product to be heated must be in direct contact with the heat source (e.g. heating plate). The better the contact between the heat source and the product, the faster and more homogeneous the heating will be. Heat conduction is the fastest option compared to other types of heat transfer such as convection or radiation.
