Refers to a printing defect in which the layer thickness in the center of the printed image is significantly lower than in the edge area. This effect often occurs with large print areas of >15x15mm.

The cause may be a warping of the components or a deflection of the squeegee. This can be remedied by stiffening the squeegee and applying vacuum to the components. Reducing the squeegee pressure can also help.
