Describes the time a machine needs to process a product. For electronic products, the cycle time is specified in seconds. The cycle time is calculated:

Cycle time = production time per batch or product carrier / parts per batch

This results in a single cycle time per part. This makes it possible to estimate whether the required quantity of products can be produced on the production line or whether it needs to be extended with additional machines.
