Batch process

Refers to a production concept in which the products are loaded and unloaded from one side. It is therefore not a continuous process, but the oven is loaded with a batch. The batch is processed and then removed from the machine. Batch ovens are therefore part of an island concept in production. Batch processes have the advantage that more parts can be processed simultaneously than in inline systems. However, corresponding process time is lost due to loading and unloading.
